Sysarb automatically calculates the weight for each factor, presented as a percentage of the whole. The weight is calculated by dividing the factor’s maximum possible score by the total possible score of the factor plan.

The reasoning behind this is that we believe a scale of 15–16 levels is sufficient for a large Swedish employer to define equivalent jobs. This aligns with other international job evaluation tools. To enable comparisons between employers, the interval can no longer be adjusted. We have created a fixed scale, ensuring that a level six remains a level six regardless of who uses the factor plan.

The descriptions of the intervals are included in the export of the factor plan in the Job Architecture module or under Reports in the Pay Equity Analysis.

The 24 points made it possible to reach the higher levels for the groups with the highest scores, such as executive/leadership teams.
