The purpose of this guide is to help you as an employee navigate and understand the Activities page in Sysarb. This is where you'll find your employment details, your ongoing activities, and the Discussions, Targets and Assessments you need to handle.
Start page: Activities
When you log in, you'll land automatically on the Activities page - your start page in the platform. Here you'll find everything waiting for you: Discussions to respond to, Targets to follow up on, and Assessments to complete.
Your employment
In the top left of the page you'll find the Your employment section, where you'll see your employment details - Total Salary, Job Profile and Unit.
Ongoing activities
In the Ongoing activities section you'll see a complete list of everything you have to handle right now - Discussions, Targets and Assessments.
Each card shows:
Title
Activity type
Due date
Click Open to go straight to the tab and continue from there.
Your activities
On the right side of the page you'll find three tabs - Discussions, Targets and Assessments - where all your activities are sorted by category. In the sections below, we'll go through each tab in turn.
Discussions
This tab shows all the Discussions you've been invited to, grouped by year, with title, status and end date. Click on a Discussion to open it.
In the Discussion view, you'll see the Last response date at the top, along with the Discussion status section, which shows where in the process the Discussion currently is: Invitation sent → Answering questions → Discussion ongoing → For approval → Archived. Each step is marked off by you and your manager from your respective sides as the Discussion moves forward.
Scroll down to reach the questions. You and your manager see the same view - your panel on the right and your manager's on the left - and you type your answers in your own panel.
At the bottom of the Discussion you'll find two sections managed by your manager:
Agreed targets: Targets your manager has linked to the Discussion. You can read them but not edit them. The Targets are also available under the Targets tab.
Attachments: Documents or files your manager has uploaded as background material for the Discussion.
Your answers are saved automatically, but they're not visible to your manager until you click Show answers for manager.

Targets
This tab shows your Targets, grouped by year, with title, due date and status. Both you and your manager can create Targets, and the view looks the same for both of you.
Create a new Target via the New target button and fill in:
Target name
When the target should be achieved
Describe the target
Activities along the way
How will we assess the target
The Target is saved automatically.
Targets you've created yourself can be edited or deleted via the icons on each Target card.
Targets created by your manager are marked with the note "Target created by your manager". You can open and read them via the pencil icon, but you can't edit or delete them.
When you've achieved a Target, your manager marks it as complete via Target status.
Assessments
This tab shows your Assessments, grouped by year, with title and status. The Assessments are created by your system administrators.
Click on a card to expand it and complete your self-assessment.
Inside the Assessment, you'll see a list of Criteria along with two columns - one for your manager and one with your name.
For each criteria, click Rate performance and select the level that best describes your performance. When you've finished all criteria, click Mark as complete.
Once both you and your manager have marked your Assessments as complete, the results are shared - you'll see your manager's assessment of you, and your manager will see your self-assessment. This gives you a shared basis to build the Discussion on.
