The purpose of this guide is to help you as a manager set, follow up on, and evaluate targets for your employees in a single, consolidated view. You'll easily get an overview of your group's targets and can continuously track how the work is progressing.
Navigate to Targets
To get to the Targets tab, click the Targets icon in the menu on the left. You'll then see an overview of all targets for your employees.
Overview
At the top of the view, you select which year you want to work in.
Directly below the year selector, four status metrics are displayed to help you keep track of the situation in your group: Ongoing, Overdue, Missed, and Completed.
The status updates automatically based on the targets that are registered and gives you a quick overview of how the work is progressing.
Sort and customize the targets list
Search
At the top of the view, there's a search field where you can quickly find a specific target or a specific employee in the list.
Filtering
Customize the list to match the way you work by filtering on Status. Click the filter heading to open the filter and select one or more options - Ongoing, Overdue, Missed, and Completed.
To remove an active filter, click Reset filter at the bottom of the filter view.
Create a new target
To add a new target for an employee, click New target to the right of the employee's name. A dialog box opens where you fill in:
Name of the target
When should the target be met? (due date)
Describe the target
Activities along the way
How will we evaluate the target?
When you're done, the target is saved automatically and appears under the employee in the list together with the status Ongoing and the due date.
Edit a target
To update an existing target, click the pencil icon Edit target to the right of the target. The same dialog box opens and you can adjust all the information.
If you need to remove a target entirely, click the trash can icon next to the pencil instead.
Mark a target as complete
When a target has been achieved, open the target via the pencil icon and check Target is approved at the bottom right of the dialog box - the status then updates to Completed.
Targets that have passed their due date without being marked complete automatically get the status Overdue, so you can easily see which targets need follow-up.
Visibility for your employee
Targets are shared between you and your employee.
When a target is created, updated, or marked as complete, it's visible directly in the employee's own view, giving you both a shared starting point for check-ins and development conversations.
