Sysarb is committed to responsible and transparent use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance user experience and support decision-making in gender equality, pay transparency, and organizational development.
This guide outlines how AI is implemented in our platform, how it interacts with users, and how it aligns with the requirements of the EU Directive 2023/970 on equal pay and transparency.
Where AI Is Used
AI, powered by OpenAI’s large language models, is currently used in the following modules:
Job Architecture Module
Assists in generating job descriptions and summaries
Helps standardize role classifications and improve pay equity analysis
Audit Module
Supports the generation of reports and actionable insights
Aids in reviewing aggregated organizational pay data to identify potential gaps
Data Handling & Privacy
Aggregated Data Only: We do not send personal data (e.g., names, emails, salary amounts) to AI services. Only aggregated or anonymized inputs are used.
No Automatic Submissions: Data is never sent automatically to AI systems. AI features require active user interaction (e.g., clicking a button).
Opt-In Use: All AI features are opt-in and clearly marked throughout the platform.
Compliance with EU Directive 2023/970
Sysarb’s use of AI aligns with the transparency, fairness, and non-discrimination requirements of the EU Directive (EU) 2023/970, including:
Support for Gender-Neutral Pay Analysis: AI insights are based on organizational-wide, role-based data rather than individual identifiers, supporting objective analysis of equal work or work of equal value.
Data Protection & Privacy: Adheres to GDPR and the directive’s guidance (Article 12) to prevent indirect disclosure of identifiable data.
Non-Discriminatory Use: AI outputs are reviewed against systemic biases and trained on guidance to avoid perpetuating stereotypes or historical inequalities.
Your Control, Your Choice
Sysarb believes in human-in-the-loop AI. This means:
You are always in control: You decide when and how to use AI features.
Transparency first: AI-generated content is always labeled.
No AI decisions are binding: All outputs are suggestive and require human confirmation.
