To customize the complexity of passwords in the software, follow these steps.

Start by logging in, then click on your initials in the bottom left corner, and then select Settings.

In the menu under Settings, you will find a tab called Security. Click there to access the password settings.

On this page, you can configure the system’s security and password settings.

Under Password Complexity, you define the password requirements, such as minimum length (default is 10 characters) and whether passwords must include uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, special characters or not easy to be guessable.

Under Authentication Security, you can set:

  • The number of allowed failed login attempts

  • How long a password reset link is valid (in minutes)

  • How long the welcome email link is valid (in days)

You can also enable:

  • Prevent reuse of previous passwords – stops users from reusing old passwords

  • Password lifetime – forces users to update their passwords after a set number of days

You can enable BankID as the default login method for Swedish employees by activating Use BankID as the default login for Swedish employees.

For this to work, employees must have their personal identity numbers registered in the system.

You also have the option to:

  • Copy social security numbers from employees to users – automatically fills in the required information for BankID

  • Activate BankID for all users – sets BankID as the default login method for all users
